Who Qualifies for Home Repair Assistance in Middle TN?

Property Type Eligibility: The program primarily serves single-family detached homes. Limited repairs may be available for qualifying townhomes and mobile homes. Rental properties and condominiums are not eligible. Homeowners insurance is preferred.

Cost and Affordability of the Repair Program
Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury covers at least 90 percent of all approved repair costs. The homeowner’s remaining contribution is calculated on a sliding scale based on overall household affordability, project size, and scope. If the calculated homeowner share is less than $100, the fee is entirely waived.

How the Repair Application Process Works

Submit a Full Application: If you meet preliminary requirements, Habitat will send you a full application by mail or email. You will provide supporting documentation confirming:

Participate in a Home Evaluation: Habitat schedules an on-site visit for qualifying applicants. Our assessment team examines the requested repair areas to verify project feasibility and safety priority.
Application Review: The Critical Home Repair Committee reviews the completed application, income documentation, property condition, and proposed scope of work. Applicants receive official written notification by mail.
