At Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury, our commitment to shelter doesn't stop at the Tennessee state line. For every home HFHWM builds here in Maury or Williamson County, we tithe to Habitat for Humanity International to build a second home overseas for a family in need. It's our way of ensuring that the generosity of our Franklin, TN community reaches families around the world who need it most.

Habitat for Humanity's tithing program supports carefully chosen building and shelter projects that provide housing in the world's poorest places. When our donors, volunteers, and partners in Franklin, Spring Hill, Brentwood, and Columbia come together to build a home right here in Middle Tennessee, they're also helping to lay a foundation on the other side of the world.
Tithe funds allow families to stand on their own and build stronger, more stable communities. Rather than creating dependency, the tithing program invests in lasting solutions that empower families with the security of a safe, decent place to call home.
Our Global Impact
Over the years, Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury has tithed to countries across the globe, including Haiti, Vietnam, Cambodia, Lesotho, and Mozambique. In Mozambique, an African country deeply affected by HIV, the disease has taken the lives of many middle-aged citizens, leaving siblings to raise their families in many cases. A safe, stable home in these communities can make the difference between hardship and hope for an entire generation of children.
Each international tithe is a direct reflection of the values shared by our supporters here in Williamson and Maury Counties. The same belief that drives us to build affordable homes in Franklin, TN, that every family deserves a safe place to live, is the belief that connects us to families in need around the world.
