Camille G.
Camille and her family are excited to take the next step towards homeownership through Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury!
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Camille moved to Nashville in 2007 to attend Tennessee State University where she graduated with a degree in Health Science. Now, after years of calling Middle Tennessee home, she is eager to establish permanent roots in the community she loves.
Camille was raised in a family that valued dedication and service—her father served as a police detective, and her mother worked as a designer. From them, she learned the importance of hard work, resilience, and helping others. These values have carried her through her 16-year career at Walgreens, where she’s now a store manager. Supporting her team and serving the community brings Camille a deep sense of purpose, but her greatest role is being a mother to her three children.
As a single mother, Camille is determined to give her children the stability she’s always dreamed of. Carmen (13) has found a passion for soccer, while 6-year-old twins Cyleigh and Cadence enjoy arts and crafts. Camille imagines a home where her children can not only thrive but also create lasting memories—whether it’s decorating their own rooms or spending time together on family movie nights or outdoor adventures.
Navigating an increasingly difficult housing market, Camille applied to Habitat for Humanity to secure a safe, affordable home where her family can grow. This opportunity means the world to her, and she’s excited to learn budgeting and homeownership skills that will help her build a bright future.
She is especially grateful for the support of sponsors and the opportunity to one day pay it forward to other families in need. For her, this is more than just a house—it’s a foundation for a lifetime of memories and security for her children.
