Ivan & Nelia
Ivan and Nelia were both born and raised in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, where they built their lives surrounded by family, friends, and a strong sense of community.
In the fall of 2021, Ivan and Nelia made the courageous decision to move their family to Spring Hill, Tennessee, in search of new opportunities. Together with their four children, they are building a new chapter of life in the United States.
Their children each bring their unique spirit to the family. Natalia, at 20, is an avid reader who also enjoys crafting, a hobby she has loved since childhood. Anna, 17, has a creative side that shines through her drawings, her interest in beauty care, and her love for making handicrafts. Maksym, 11, excels at math and can often be found playing football with friends or enjoying family trips. Nazar, 9, is the family helper, happiest when lending a hand around the house, fishing with his dad, or playing football with friends.
As a family, they treasure their time together—whether it’s traveling to explore new places, relaxing outdoors, or gathering at home for movie nights. Partnering with Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury brings them one step closer to their dream of having a stable home of their own.
“Thanks to your program, my dream of buying a house can come true. Thanks to everyone who participates and helping in this program by working physically and financially.”
