With Gratitude: Honoring Jennee Galland’s Legacy at HFHWM

It is with deep appreciation that we share the news that Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury’s President & COO, Jennee Galland, will be stepping down this month.

Jennee is stepping into a new season with Shelter Equity, a local housing nonprofit, where she will focus on global housing development—a lifelong passion of hers.

With Jennee’s departure, the co-leadership responsibilities she and Kim have shared will now be fully transitioned to Kim, who will continue guiding the organization forward with the same dedication and heart.

“Jennee and I were hired together more than 12 years ago, and we’ve been shoulder-to-shoulder in this work ever since — both here at home and abroad,” shared HFHWM CEO Kim Randell. “She has been a steady, passionate force for Habitat, pouring her heart into every build, every family, and every project.”

Over the course of her tenure, Jennee has contributed to nearly every aspect of our organization. From launching the Hammers & High Heels fundraiser and building a strong community presence to overseeing construction efforts, her leadership and vision have shaped HFHWM in countless ways. Her impact is truly woven into the fabric of our mission.

Jennee has opened the door to homeownership for hundreds of families and transformed the lives of those fortunate enough to work alongside her.

We are deeply grateful for her years of service and wish her every success in this exciting new chapter.
