Partner Spotlight: The New Residents’ Guide
This month, we are featuring our longstanding media partner, The New Residents’ Guide!
Moving to a new home, whether across the country or across town, is tough. That’s where The New Residents’ Guide comes into play. Linda Eaves, owner and publisher, has moved multiple times to different cities and states, and she knows how challenging it is to find businesses, services, and resources when first establishing a new home with a family.
The New Residents’ Guide includes everything a new resident needs, such as articles on getting car tags and a driver’s license, information on local parks, playgrounds, walking trails, community libraries, city and county services, and local school details. The New Residents’ Guide introduces local businesses to the new resident market through a unique print and digital publication.
The New Residents’ Guide features multiple editions. The Williamson and Maury Counties edition covers the cities and towns of Franklin, Brentwood, Nolensville, Spring Hill, Columbia, Thompson’s Station, Fairview, and Mt. Pleasant. The second Guide for Rutherford County includes Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, and Eagleville. TheNewResidentsGuide.com takes viewers on a deeper dive into the Middle Tennessee area with detailed articles about cities and towns, local events, and helpful blogs.
At Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury, we believe welcoming someone home doesn’t end when the keys are handed over. A home is the beginning of a new chapter, and every new chapter deserves the right tools and resources to help families settle in and thrive!
That’s why we are grateful for partners like New Residents’ Guide, who help extend that welcome beyond the front door. Each of our Habitat homeowners receives a copy of this guide when their home is complete, a simple but meaningful resource to help them connect with their community.
